One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. In the case of Nightwood, that trash is two women’s design materials. Nightwood, the home décor studio founded by Myriah Scruggs and Nadia Yaron, reclaims unwanted scrap to craft fine furniture and textiles. Nadia explains that the studio humbly began “out of necessity” when the pair needed to furnish their Brooklyn apartment. Now, their product line includes furniture as well as linens, pillows and paintings. Their latest joint venture, a pop-up shop at be@schermerhorn, is selling reworked textiles and furnishings through October 31st. Read their 10 Answers below to see how this duo breathes new life into everything they do.

So excited to see your work this weekend. I just moved a few blocks from your current shop and definitely in the market for a new coffee table.
