Print designer and illustrator Brie Harrison sees every item as a canvas for her effervescent art.  Coffee mugs, home goods, paintings, clothing and more boast her signature styles and vibrant colors. 1. How would you describe your work in three words?
Eclectic, happy and quirky.

2. Who is your creative role model?
I really admire David Weidman’s work at the moment, but there are just so many inspiring people out there.

3. If you had an extra hour each day what would you do with it?
I would like to say read, cook or relax but probably…work!

4. What place in the world most inspires you and why?
ooo. That’s hard- probably the North Norfolk coast in England- its so tranquil- the beaches are beautiful with miles of sand and dunes- you can breathe in the air there and you feel like its medicinal. But then I also love California for its contrast in nature, vintage shops and the most amazing Mexican food you could wish for.

5. If you could do a different job for a day what would it be and why?
I would quite like to work at the zoo for a day and say hello to lots of animals…

6. What is your favorite homemade gift to give?
Probably a print I have made.

7. What is your favorite object in your home?
A little wooden painted man that my boyfriend James made me. He is a very talented Illustrator.

8. What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Worrying only causes you pain and never solves anything.

9. What websites do you use for inspiration?
I love Design*Sponge- I look at the Sneak Peeks every week! Plus Brown Paper Bag and Where the Lovely Things Are.

10. When do you consider a piece of your work complete?
Who knows, I suppose I just feel it.
