1. How would you describe your work in three words?
Abstract, weird, colorful.
2. Who is your creative role model?
I have so many friends and co-workers that really push me creatively so it would be way to hard to choose just one person. I am really pretty honored to be surround by so many amazing creative people.
3. If you had an extra hour each day what would you do with it?
Draw more, no matter how much I draw now it never feels like it’s enough.
4. What place in the world most inspires you and why?
For the past 3 summers I have gone to the combination of Comic-Con and Disneyland. There is just so much amazingness going on between the two of those places it blows my mind every year.
5. If you could do a different job for a day what would it be and why?
I have this secret dream to play in the NBA. But I’m not even 6 feet tall and I am one of the worst basketball players you will meet, but I just think dunking is about one of the coolest things on earth.
6. What is your favorite homemade gift to give?
To be honest I am the worst at giving gifts! It’s really something I’ve been working on. Most of the time I have been giving original drawings or really nice prints.
7. What is your favorite object in your home?
My girlfriend just got me and Eames Rocking chair. It’s pretty much perfect.
8. What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Less talk, more work.

10. When do you consider a piece of your work complete?
I have a pretty clear vision in my head from the start, once I’ve done all the line work and coloring I will usually sit on it for a day then go back and add some textures or other little things. It just has to feel “right” it’s hard to describe.
