Christopher Lane’s photographs offer a fabulous slice of Americana, baked by a Brit. The English-born photographer specializes in documentary and portrait photography from his New York studio, which gives him a unique perspective on US culture and practices. A particular highlight is Christopher’s project, America on Parade, that documents six years of parades in the United States with bold colors, funky camera angles and quirky subjects. His work has been shown in the National Portrait gallery in London, awarded the Art Directors Club Young Gun Award, and was recently published in Flash Forward and Creative Review Annual.
