“Type, type, type.” John Boardley’s description of his work says it all. And so does the name of his popular blog, “I Love Typography.” As a British-born graphic designer and writer living in Japan, John has dedicated his life’s work to exploring how our letters originate and what makes for good type. He recently published Codex: The Journal of Typography, a quarterly print magazine with feature articles, book and type reviews, interviews, tips, type history, new and notable faces, essays, and type design from typography experts. See what else inspires this type-A fanatic in his 10 ANSWERS below.
