1. How would you describe your work in three words?
Repetitive, tumultuous and colorful.

2. Who is your creative role model?
Anyone who does something I don’t know how to do, like , her or him.

3. If you had an extra hour each day what would you do with it?
Swim one more hour.

4. What place in the world most inspires you and why?
My country, Chile. When you travel it, you always feel like you can’t possibly be in the same country because it has so many diverse places in all in one.

5. If you could do a different job for a day what would it be and why?
Psychologist. My favorite thing to do is hear stories, especially if they come from different people, of varying ages and backgrounds. After 15 years of hearing stories, I think I could automatically become a scriptwriter.

6. What is your favorite homemade gift to give?
Apart from giving drawings and prints, I give lots of small hand-made sculpey animals.

7. What is your favorite object in your home?
My car collection that gives a lot of color to our home.

8. What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
That nothing is so important (and I have a small paper with this sentence in spanish on my desk; “Nada es tan importante”) Helps me with the small stresses of the routine.

9. What websites do you use for inspiration?
I really don’t see to many web sites for inspiration. Sometimes I look at books like Comm Arts, but I’m not very good at looking for external inspiration on the Internet.

10. When do you consider a piece of your work complete?
First I need to leave it for a while. When I’m back, I definitely follow the first impression. In that impression there is always something that tells you if the work is complete.
