His seemingly simple coat rack shows a mastery of geometry, because he interlocks round wood components with hidden hardware joint connections. 1. How would you describe your work in three words?
Simple, useful, honest.

2. Who is your creative role model?
Enzo Mari. One of the most thoughtful designers of the late 20th century, His works are highly original and uncompromising.

3. If you had an extra hour each day what would you do with it?
Cook for my family.

4. What place in the world most inspires you and why?
Hangzhou. It’s natural and quiet.

5. If you could do a different job for a day what would it be and why?
A novelist. I’d like to tell some stories full of imagination.

6. What is your favorite homemade gift to give?
I’m not sure now, maybe a small wooden toy made in the future.

The S02 Coat rack we designed.

Just do it.

I never feel have finished my work.
