“Illustrate with type.” That’s the best advice that superstar graphic designer Paula Scher has ever received. And over her legendary career, Paula has followed that sage wisdom with unprecedented success. From her early album cover designs to her famous Public Theatre identity system to her hundreds of logo creations, Paula’s illustrated type designs have lead to an illustrious career. Even her Fine Art paintings of world maps colorfully depict continents and regions with hand-drawn words describing the locations. As a testament to her distinguished talents and contributions to the graphic design field, Paula has received immense international praise including the AIGA Medal, the profession’s highest honor.
